Item 8.01

Other Events.

On March 11, 2024, Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. (the “Company”) announced top-line results of the Company’s Phase 3 ADVANCE-2 trial evaluating pimavanserin for the treatment of negative symptoms of schizophrenia. The study did not meet its primary endpoint. The safety and tolerability profile of pimavanserin was consistent with previous clinical trials, showing a low rate of adverse events.
